From the Pastor's Desk

“This is what the Lord says — your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.” Isa. 48:17. There are many simple things in life that can sometimes get neglected.  When we subscribe to them, we prosper.  When we fail to subscribe to them, we lose.  The verse above tells us that God is always trying to ‘teach us’ things.  Are we listening to learn, or are we blindly pressing on in the assumption, that we know how to live the life in front of us each day?  We must always be humble enough to be a learner every day.  The verse above also says that God is always trying to ‘direct us’ in the way we should go. Often, I have suffered the consequences of thinking I had analysed the situation, come up with the answer and pursued it, believing in a good outcome…only to be disappointed with the results. God never meant us to live independent of Him.  Sometimes the way seems so obvious, to our natural way of thinking…and yet we still need to stop and take reference from Him, to see if He has The Way, not obvious, as He is The Way.  There are some things you are facing right now, today.  Stop and ask The Teacher.  Let Him tell you The Way forward.  Proceed with faith, joy and victory!
