“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” Ps. 68:11
“And the gospel must first be published among all nations.” Mark 13:10.
“Return to thine own house and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.” Luke 8:39.
“And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.” Acts 13:49.
God is a Publisher…and He fully expects us to be like Him…publishers of His Word…in written form and in verbal expression. Have you ever given a Bible to someone? If not, why not? No Bible to give? Bibles are some of the best gifts you can give to another person…especially a young person. 2 Tim. 3:15.
You can also become a “publisher” by sharing your ‘story’ about how you came to know Christ…the spoken or written Word came to you and you encountered Christ in a life-transforming way. It is ‘sideways’ preaching. You are not putting on someone, your view, but sharing your own powerful experience, that the Holy Spirit uses to speak into the heart of another.
You are a walking ‘infomercial,’ publishing the Word of God to our world. The Word of God is eternal…it goes on and on and on…. So many people today in our knowledge-laden world do not know what the Bible says. They don’t know it holds the answers to the most important questions of life and the standards everyone should live by…such a book…how can we refuse to publish it?
