“Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart…I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; Ps 86:11; Ezek 11:19.
Division is Satan’s most powerful weapon. He used it to divide man from God, man from woman, man from mankind, man from himself and man from creation. Whether that division is a present force in a family, a business, a relationship, or a nation, its power to destroy is immeasurable. Satan, the great ‘cloaking-master,’ hides the impact of division in numerous kinds of deceptive ways. The believer must discern this Satanic attempt. If he fails to discern it, he ends up with what the verses above call a ‘divided heart.’ Your heart is the great “motor’ for living, both physically and spiritually. If it suffers, your life suffers. An ‘undivided heart’ is a heart that has a settled conviction of faith regarding the promises of God. It is the ‘new mind-set’ of being a new creation. If your mind is allowed to entertain the negative, anxious, worrying, fearful, and discouraging, you are living with a ‘divided heart.’ James 1:1:6-8 says a “double-minded” person will not receive anything from the Lord. Kick out the thoughts of the old person you used to be and the lies of Satan and meditate in the thoughts that are consistent with who you are. Grace begins to flow its miracle life into your experience.
