From the Pastor's Desk

“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Rom. 8:11.

The Spirit of the Living God, lives inside of you!  It may not ‘feel’ like it, but it is nevertheless true.  That means, God, Himself, the Almighty, Ever-present One, lives inside of you every day—even in your ‘darkest days,’ He is still abiding inside you.  He is not somewhere afar off in the distance, watching you.  He is living His life in your spirit-man.  1 Cor. 6:17.

He hears and sees all that you think and do, from the inside of you.  He desires to fulfil His purposes in your life and release more of Himself in your daily life.  He simply requires your voluntary, faith-filled cooperation.  Without your voluntary, faith-filled cooperation, He works through indirect means to gain your attention.  He wants you to ask Him, cry out to Him, lean on His sufficiency and not yours.  He allows ‘stuff’ that is difficult to come your way so that you become an expression of His love and power in your circumstances and your ministry to others.

You only can give away what you truly believe you have.  Acts 3:6 teaches us that we have ‘Him,’ to give away—in all of His love and power and compassion.  He is the ‘treasure’ in your ‘earthen vessel.’ 2 Cor. 4:7-11. There is ‘another voice’ that seeks to overwhelm your mind and emotions besides the voice of this world.  It is the voice of your ‘old nature.’   That old nature, that person that you once used to be, tells you that you are exhausted, weak, incapable, despairing, and hopeless.  It is a lie.  You are ‘raised from all forms of death’ because the Author of life lives inside you today!

Cast down the Lie, and embrace Him afresh, in worship, loving others, hearing and obeying, and receive His strength for living today.  Eph. 6:10 is for you!

We follow Him!  Let us do it!
