About Us

Who are we?

New Life Bible Church consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds and over 40 different nationalities. Whoever you are, you are assured a very warm welcome at New Life Bible Church.

When to arrive:

If it's your first visit then it's probably best to turn up around 13.50 pm.You can get a tea or coffee in the kitchen from our Hospitality Team. If you are driving then you'll be pleased to hear that there is free parking in the surrounding streets. You'll be greeted with a warm welcome at the door by one of our Stewards who will show you to a seat.

What to wear:

This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. Suits or jeans are fine with us.

What to expect:

For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience. To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect at New Life. First of all, we aren't super-spiritual beings, we all had a 'first day' at church and you'll find we are a friendly bunch, if you don't understand something please simply ask. We start our meeting at  2 PM with a few minutes of prayer, then we spend about 45 minutes worshipping. Our worship time consists of modern songs (with guitars, keyboards and drums). People are welcome to bring prophetic words or words of encouragement. Everyone participates in the worship, after which the kids go to their own Junior Church groups. We also run a creche for the little ones. We then have a talk from the Bible that is aimed at bringing God's revelation of His will and purpose for our lives. There is opportunity to receive healing and personal ministry during the service or at the end or even both sometimes. We finish our meeting around 4 PM(ish), Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years that you should be encouraged and inspired by the end of our service. We hope that everyone will experience the presence and goodness of God during their visit.

What we believe:

We are a Christian church and believe that all can have relationship with God. We believe this relationship with God is possible because of Jesus (God's only Son) who invites us to follow Him. We believe that God has called us bring His salvation, healing (physical and emotional) and deliverance to all.  We believe that God has an amazing plan for your life and has designed you to live a naturally supernatural life.  We have excellent relationships with other local churches from both traditional and modern backgrounds.

Is it just Sundays?

At the moment it is, due to our temporary location. Please see our Latest News & Major Events pages for more upcoming details.

For those with disabilities:

We aim to be an all-inclusive church. However our resources are limited so we try to provide for our current attendees. If you wish to discuss specific needs please contact the church office.  We do not currently have a loop for the hearing impaired (please tell us if this would be helpful).
